Shrinkray is a cross-platform CLI video compression tool powered by FFmpeg, featuring a wizard-style TUI built with Go and Charm’s Bubble Tea. The interactive TUI wizard offers step-by-step guided compression with real-time preview, 18 built-in presets spanning quality tiers, purpose-driven options, and platform-specific targets such as Discord, YouTube, and TikTok, plus recommendations that analyze your video and suggest a preset. Hardware acceleration is auto-detected across NVIDIA NVENC, AMD AMF, Apple VideoToolbox, and Intel QSV, and batch processing compresses entire folders with parallel workers and progress tracking. A scriptable —no-tui headless mode with stdin pipe support serves CI/CD pipelines, and the tool ships as a single static binary for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
