Rich Foot is an Obsidian plugin that enhances the footer of your notes by adding backlinks, outlinks, and created/modified dates. Backlinks are displayed as tags showing which notes link to the current note, while outlinks (disabled by default) show the notes it links to, both with a tag-like appearance. The plugin also detects links declared in a note’s frontmatter. Appearance is customizable through the settings panel, with opacity and border controls, visibility toggles for each section, and an option to exclude folders from displaying the footer.

Installation

1. Open Obsidian and go to Settings
2. Navigate to Community Plugins and disable Safe Mode
3. Click on Browse and search for “Rich Foot”
4. Install the plugin and enable it
